The UNCCD COP8 (eighth session of the Conference of the Parties of the United nations Convention to Combat Desertification) was held in Madrid from 3-14 September 2007 together with CST8 (eighth session of the Committee on Science and Technology) and CRIC6 (sixth session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention).
The UNCCD transmitted the reccomendations and conclusions of the ITKNET Conference to the Conference of the Parties (COP) CST/COP(8)
